How to Embed Fonts in a PDF
Embedding your fonts will help avoid unexpected issues when printing or sharing your PDF files between different computers.

Depending on what version of the program you're using, the steps or wording may be slightly different.
- Open your Word document and go to "File" in the top menu.
- Choose "Save As" or "Save As Adobe PDF" to open the Save As dialog box.
- In the Save As dialog box, select a location to save your PDF file.
- Click on the "Options" button to open the Options dialog box.
- In the Options dialog box, select the "Save" tab.
- Check the box that says "Embed fonts in the file" and select the appropriate option for embedding all or only the characters used in the document.
- Click "OK" to save the options, and then click "Save" to create the PDF with embedded fonts.

- Open your Publisher document and go to "File" in the top menu.
